Stephanie White and Levi Lutz tied the knot on a picture-perfect June day, surrounded by the charm of a classic Minnesota country club. Their European-inspired celebration was a dazzling affair, perched above the shimmering waters of Lake Minnetonka, blending elegance and romance in an unforgettable setting.

The Sweet Love Story

The pair met during residency training, and their relationship quickly grew from coworkers to friends to partners. Within a few years, the couple was engaged. Levi popped the question during a scenic hike along the North Shore in Minnesota, overlooking Lake Superior. It was only fitting that the two celebrate their nuptials lake-side at the Lafayette Club, a premier golf course and wedding venue.

The Fashion

The bridesmaids looked fabulous in stylish blue dresses and fun floral prints, while the groomsmen added a sharp touch with their navy suits and dotted ties. Stephanie’s dress was a showstopper by Vivienne Westwood. She chose the stunning Rhea style, which boasted a delicate corset top, elegant lace sleeves, and a dreamy blend of satin and tulle. The romantic vibe carried through to the beautiful ribbon-wrapped bouquets, brimming with fluffy white roses, ranunculus, fresh greenery, and delphiniums. It was a picture-perfect scene!

The Inspiration

When planning their wedding, it was important to Stephanie and Levi that the event epitomized timeless sophistication. They dreamed of a wedding that was romantic and chic, leaning into crisp white with tasteful touches of blue. Just as important as the details and design was the guest experience. "We definitely want it to feel like a party and we both aren't huge fans of frequent interruptions like speeches and cake cuttings," Stephanie said. "I want to be present at the event so that we can really feel like we get to see our family & friends. I want people to spend time talking/mingling/dancing."

The Ceremony

Although they kept some classic touches—like a church ceremony and lighting a unity candle—the couple added their own unique flair to their wedding. They opted for an adorable first look and skipped the traditional cake. The celebration took place at St. Martin's by the Lake, a quaint and cozy church dating back to 1888. Delicate floral ribbons adorned the pews, and the enchanting sound of piano music filled the air, creating a magical atmosphere

The Reception

After the "I Do's," the newlyweds made a stylish escape in their getaway car, cruising up the hill to the fabulous golf club for the reception. As guests arrived, they were greeted by a breathtaking water fountain in the club's elegant foyer. The party really kicked off in the Lakeview Room, where waitstaff circulated with delicious hors d'oeuvres while guests mingled and sipped cocktails on the scenic deck. The couple's signature drinks were a hit—he picked a refreshing blackberry G&T, and she went for a timeless classic, the Paloma.

Dinner was held in the stunning Crystal Ballroom. As soon as guests were seated, the couple regally entered the ballroom and waltzed into their first dance, with live music performed by the Bluewater Kings Band. Guests enjoyed a menu of grilled beef medallions and herb-crusted chicken with seasonal vegetables and cranberry rice pilaf, followed by the club's signature mini desserts including macarons, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and cupcakes. Dainty bud vases with pops of blue thistle decorated the tables. The focal point was the 24-foot head table, set beneath an elegant chandelier and adorned with a lush, oversized hydrangea garland. Elegant taper candles, natural blue linen napkins, and blue-glass water goblets completed the look.
