We honestly did not think Italian weddings could be any more chic... but we were so very wrong. Natasha and Nigel were wed in Ostuni Italy among the beautiful whitewashed buildings and in front of friends, family, and several passing tourists. The bride and her beautiful flower girl daughter appeared to have stepped out of the pages of Vogue as they made their way down the wedding aisle with their matching black laced gladiator style shoes.
The rest of the day is just too fabulous to put into words. We recommend you just keep scrolling to see for yourself and be sure to visit the full gallery to see every last detail thanks to the talents of Kayleigh Pope Photography.
Natasha and Nigel got married in the gorgeous Italian city of Ostuni. The stunning 'white city' in the Apulia region. In the morning, Natasha got ready at her beautiful rented townhouse, Albeda Ostuni, alongside her family and her cute flower girl daughter Vogue.
Local hairdresser and makeup artist, Alessandro Mancino, styled Natasha's hair and did her makeup. She opted for very natural makeup look with a dewy glow and her hair was loosely pinned at the back with a sweeping fringe. She wore the most stunning long sleeved dress from Saldana Vintage and Castaner x Malono Blahnik espadrilles (her daughter had a matching pair!). Which perfectly tied in with the Italian theme! Also adding to this was the straw hat, which I hear is going to be a new bridal trend - I hope so!
Groom Nigel wore a navy double-breasted Ralph Lauren blazer and all important Ray-Bans.
They were officially married in the Town Hall of Ostuni by the Vice-Mayor, in a beautiful courtyard setting. Tourists and locals stood around the edge and watched the ceremony, which gave it a lovely laid-back feel. Natasha walked down the aisle to a UB40 track, meaningful to the couple. Nigel also surprised his bride by learning his vows in Italian! They had one reading - ‘Carrie’s Poem’ from Sex in the City.
After the ceremony, guests gathered on the terrace and enjoyed drinks and canapés, whilst we walked around the city using it as a backdrop for photographs. There were beautiful little corners everywhere, we were spoilt for choice!
After we had finished, the swing band walked us up to La Sommita Relais for the wedding breakfast. This Michelin star restaurant was the perfect setting for an Italian wedding. The wedding breakfast area looked gorgeous with a long banquet-style table lined with flowers, crochet doilies, old corks, and handmade stationery. It was such a relaxed reception with plenty of food and wine.
They opted not to have any speeches but ended with a game of Mr & Mrs narrated by the Best Man. We then left for an olive grove to take some more photographs as the sun went down. Again, such a stunning backdrop for photographs. They even had a white horse for us to use!
In the evening, guest retired back to the couples Apartment for an after-party, with cocktails aplenty from the ‘Bazeley Bar’!
