This Fairytale Wedding Was Planned In Just Two Weeks!

Bald bride and groom share a kiss under balloon arch

You may recognize this gorgeous couple from our Instagram post a few weeks back about their engagement. Addi is currently battling Leukemia and has always dreamed of her wedding day, so Sebastian decided, why wait and popped the question! Fast forward two weeks later and an insanely talented and generous team of vendors came together to make Addi’s dream come true. That’s right, two weeks!

Bonnie Tran coordinated this incredible effort and knew that The Point would be the perfect setting for this fairytale wedding. Adorations Botanical Artistry, Dogwood and Fir, Flowers by Annette Gomez, Studio2053, and Taylor Grace Design all came together to create all of these stunning floral arrangements and installations including this epic balloon arch. Justice Photography captured every special moment between Addi, Sebastian, and their closest friends and family members and we’re so excited to be able to share them with you! GETTING READY

Outdoor wedding venue with balloon arch and seating

On this sunny San Diego day, the bride and her ladies donned matching robes and PJ sets with the bride in white and her besties in black. An entire glam squad was there to ensure that everyone was looking their best for the big day. They kept Addi’s makeup dewy and natural with a touch of coral blush and a warm shadow on the eyes, perfect for this waterfront wedding. After she was all dolled up, Addi slipped into a stunning A-line tulle gown with a lace sweetheart bodice and some minimalist sandals for comfort. To top off the look, the bride wore a beautiful tiara with crystal details and a fingertip-length veil. The bridesmaids wore mix and match black dresses that they will no-doubt actually wear again! Sebastian, the groom, looked equally dapper in his white tux jacket while the groomsmen sported black tuxes that added to the timeless feel of the wedding.

A COLORFUL CEREMONY

Long wooden table with floral garland for a wedding event

With the sparkling Misson Bay in the background, Sebastian waited excitedly by an incredible balloon archway in shades of light blue, pink, and terracotta that was decorated with matching wildflowers. After a tearful first look with her dad, Addie, an absolute vision, made her appearance. Her tulle dress danced in the breeze as she made her way down the aisle toward the love of her life. With hands clasped, they exchanged their vows, both smiling from ear to ear. After their I dos, guests showered Addie and Sebastian with rose petals as they took their first walk together as husband and wife.

A DAZZLING FIRST DANCE

Bride and groom's first dance with sparklers at wedding

With the faux turf floor continuing the outdoor garden theme, The Point is one of the coolest spaces for a reception. Guests were seated at a long family-style table decorated with a low green garland and decorative bud vases with pastel florals scattered throughout. Each guest's place was marked with an adorable potted succulent that doubled as a favor and pulled in the rich terracotta color. While we love the tablescape setup, our favorite part of this epic reception has to be the dancefloor that was framed by a chandelier of hanging greenery and draped white fabric. If that wasn’t romantic enough, there was a firework fountain surprise during their first dance! Guests were treated to a delicious dinner and several delectable desserts, including the lovely buttercream cake by Heritage Desserts that was topped with live florals. It was a beautiful day filled with love and friendship for two incredibly deserving people that are sure to live happily ever after!
