Leila and Tarek met each other for the first time in Fort Lauderdale, where they spent their first date with a beautiful ocean view. Tarek, a Syrian/Russian fell in love with her at first sight. He got engaged to her just after a month of meeting each other. They got engaged the day after she graduated from college. He brought his whole family from Russia to celebrate this moment. After 8 months of engagement, they got married at the Vizcaya Museum & gardens on January 6, 2019. They planned a romantic French-inspired wedding with decor that combined their middle eastern aesthetic and roots to reflect their love story surrounded by 200 guests. Italian, Russian, Arabic, French— their wedding was a beautiful assimilation of cultures they were inspired and part of.
Every little detail of the reception was flawlessly put together from the table escape and all its details to the chandeliers and its romantic hanging roses. Round and square tables were draped with custom made luxury textured imperial ivory overlay while long rectangular king tables had the shantung silk beige solid linen completing the rest of the décor, charger plates, and silverware.
The centerpieces were a mix between high and low designs the first look featured a low pave of white and soft blush, spray roses and subtle greenery inside a gold-footed vase surrounded by candles, the second look featured 36” high antique gold marble-based candelabra a rounded-pave of the same matching flowers surrounded with smaller arrangements and gold candlesticks while the rectangular tables featured a floral runner.
The entertainment continued through the reception with a second Zaffa show as the bride & groom make their grand entrance, an arabic live band and a DJ that kept all the guest on their feet through the night!
