Over the weekend, an Aussie pair professed their love for each other at a store in Casula, while their closest family members, friends, and fellow shoppers watched in awe. And if that doesn’t confirm some SERIOUS loyalty to the wholesaler, then we don’t know what would!
According to A Current Affair interview with Sydney-based Sheila, Sue Berkeley, there truly was no better place for the lovebirds to exchange vows than in the hallowed halls of their favorite haunt.
“I get to spend another day at Costco, that I love,” shared Berkeley. “Where else can I get married to the one I love, in a place that I love, surrounded by the people I love.”

She wasn’t kidding either! Not only did the two tie the knot in a place they shopped, hand in hand, together all the time, they continued the celebration by dining on some of the chain’s food court delicacies. From pizza, to hot dogs, pies, soft drinks and a sheet cake inscribed with best wishes to the newlyweds, vegemite was certainly NOT on the menu.
The decor wasn’t too shabby either! Guests were welcomed into the wedding via a rose-laden archway and a sign that read “We’re having a wedding!” And ate on long, rose-covered banquet tables that had just the right amount of rustic charm.
Apparently, not everyone with champagne wishes and Costco wedding dreams can do it up like this crew. The nuptials offer is only for ‘special guests.’ But if your heart is set on having Costco involved in your big day, why not think about registering with them. It’s doable :)
