The bride, Stevie Jewel is a professional recording artist who dreamed up her beautiful pale pink summer wedding with a hint of glamour. Her ultra girly day came together with a romantic balcony ceremony at Muskoka Bay Resort followed by a steamboat cruise to watch the sun set over Muskoka, Ontario.
Their wedding was full of personality and sparkle, and speaking of sparkle, the bride looked like a queen is her sparkly wedding dress by Pnina Tornai (with sparkly pink Jimmy Choo's to match) Kelly Holinshead captured all the love below, and in the full gallery. Oh! and before you go, be sure to check out the brides original song for their first dance here.
From the bride: My husband and I were married on August 8, 2018, in a beautiful summer ceremony surrounded by pale pinks and cream tones to create an indoor feeling in an outdoor space. We wanted a private balcony, but with a view so our decorator and event planner created these massive draperies that made the outdoors feel airy but also exclusive and private.
Our reception was on a private steamship that toured around the region of Muskoka, Ontario at sunset. Our guests loved the historic elements of the boat, but also going on a sunset cruise something so memorable for us as well as our guests. We also had DIY signs made by a friend for our reception area and dessert candy and cookie bar (we both have a huge sweet tooth)!
My favorite memory, aside from our personalized vows, was our first dance. It was choreographed and I wrote our song (being a professional songwriter and recording artist)! This month our wedding song will be commercially released to radio and will be on SiriusXM in Canada.
