We’ve seen over the top weddings and engagements before, let’s not forget about Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s NOLA wedding and Paris Hilton’s 20-carat engagement ring, both were extra in the best ways ever. But they pale in comparison to a certain $10 million wedding that happened last summer. Yes, that wasn’t a typo - 10 MILLION DOLLARS.
Two of the wealthiest heirs in Russia, Lolita Osmanov (22 years old) and Gaspar Avdolyan (29 years old) got married in Los Angeles over the first weekend in July, and the affair will go down in history as the most lavish, over-the-top display of tying-the-knot we’ve ever seen. They picked the perfect place, too, the Dolby Theatre. Not ringing a [wedding] bell? Well, the venue is pretty famous for hosting the biggest award show of life, the Oscars… evvvverrr heard of it?
Anyway, we won’t attack you with the details - of which, this wedding had thousands - but we’ll let you peep some of the pics that we pulled from Instagram. For more stalking (no judgment, we’ve been there, done that), just look things up under #gasparandlola or #gasparlolitawedding - we couldn’t put all the pics here, because… being overwhelmed is a very real possibility.
The bride wore an absolutely stunning Zuhair Murad gown with a train that was TDF (something that you could easily imitate - via drama - with a statement veil)

Guests were greeted by a fleet of classical violinists (as they walked through arches and arches worth of floral magic) and impressed by their names personalized on gold stars like the Hollywood walk of fame.

And there was a custom bar made out of ice. Like, seriously, pure ice.

Mindy Weiss, Mark’s Garden and Revelry Event Design (among several others) just killlllled it on the preparations, so much so that the Academy Awards are really an afterthought. Yas, that’s right.
