From Brian D Smith Photography: Brooke and Cody came all the way from Dallas Texas, to get married in the country's most charming city. They tied the knot at the Historic Middleton Place Plantation in Charleston South Carolina, on a beautiful and sunny October day. Middleton Place is a spacious venue with a vintage Inn, a charming pavillion, and endless oak trees. Spanish moss drapes the tree limbs and glows golden with the passing light of the day, providing the ultimate romantic setting to say I do. Middleton's vast property leaves you with a sense of awe, as you are removed from your daily lives and transported to charming and romantic times of the past.
Brooke and the wedding planner, Lindsay Bishop, decided on a blush color pallet with gorgeous shades of pink. The invitation suite, by SAS-E Ink was printed with a custom crest, featuring Brooke and Cody's much loved furry friends. As a dog owner, myself, I'm thrilled whenever someone wishes to include their pets as part of their celebration. Middleton's pavillion ceilings were draped in pink linens, provided by Underneath The Veil, Charleston.
Fresh flowers were the centerpiece of the tablescapes, furniture and decorations provided by Ooh! Events. So much care and consideration went into crafting this fairy tale blush wedding, with a timeless and traditional Charleston flare. The reception was joyous and the dance floor was never empty thanks to The Charleston Wedding Band, but most importantly because of the spirits and love joined together by the union of two happy souls.
