Perfect weather lends itself to outdoor weddings, naturally, and they trusted Simply Lovely Events to plan their ceremony at the base of the grand stone staircase with the mountains as their backdrop. Then, to make the most of this gorgeous space, they had a tented reception, and it's one of the most stunning setups we've ever seen! The Flower House is responsible for all of these lovely monochromatic arrangements that add a timeless elegance to this beautiful outdoor wedding. the fashion
The bride was radiant in a lace mermaid gown with a train that was every bit as dramatic as her grand entrance. She kept the look timeless with soft tousled waves and natural glowy makeup. Her bridesmaids wore deep emerald green off-the-shoulder dresses that brought in the subtle accent colors from the wedding design. The groom and his men wore elegant three-piece tuxes that leveled up the wedding from effortlessly chic to straight-up black tie.

Sherie and Jorge were such incredibly trusting clients. They gave me absolute full creative freedom with only one request… ultra-fun, candid photos, and nothing stiff! I think it’s so clear that we made that happen on their wedding day! Their romantic wedding day took place on a crisp fall, Saturday afternoon at the gorgeous Northern California venue, Nella Terra Cellars. They chose an emerald green color palette and classic white florals! One of my favorite details of their day, especially as a graphic designer myself, was their intentional and romantic stationary and invitation suite with romantic calligraphy and vintage-style floral features!
a private vow exchange
Before their ceremony, the couple opted to privately read the vows to each other creating the sweetest heartfelt moment between just the two of them! Then came the time for Sherie to make her grand descent (over 100 steps!) and walk down the aisle to Jorge to officially become one!
the ceremony
Jorge waited under a white draped canopy for his bride to grace the aisle. They exchanged their vows once again but this time in front of all of their family and friends. Then it was time to party!
a luxe tented reception
Their ceremony was simply perfect, but their reception was an absolute show-stopper! The three-point tent in the reception space created an intimate and luxurious experience for their guests. There was greenery hanging from the chandeliers, elegant tall floral centerpieces as well as gold embellished glassware layered with custom menus and thank you cards!
heartfelt moments and happy tears
While details and decor are always important, personal and special moments are always incredibly memorable as well! In the thank you toast from the couple, Sherie and Jorge spoke to both of the first-generation citizens, honoring their families for the sacrifices they made to provide a better life for both of them. It truly was a tear-filled moment incredibly special to their families! That is what weddings are all about!!
