This teal and grey geek chic wedding feels like a breath of fresh air. Not only is the color pallet refreshing but unique details, including the lemony fresh ceremony decor, a unity ceremony that we can safely say was completely new for us and a super cute cake topper are just a few of the things we find new and exciting about this big day!
We invite you to explore this beautiful event further with our full gallery of images provided to us by Janelle Marina Photography. Trust us, there are more then a few gems hidden away in there!
From Janelle Marina Photography: Kirsten and Michael are such a sweet couple that chose the beautiful green Descanso Gardens to make their sweet covenant. They had touches of rustic decorations that popped against all the florals. They had a romantic first look in the Japanese garden.
I love that they used fresh lemons along their aisle at their ceremony. Instead of the traditional sand unity ceremony, they chose to do a dvd unity ceremony where they united their favorite movies to create one collection! What a cute idea!
From the Bride: We loved everything about our wedding! I especially liked being able to spend cocktail hour casually hanging out with our friends and families over drinks before we transitioned over to the reception hall for the more formal bride/groom entrance.
By doing all of our wedding party photos before the wedding, and snapping just a few quick family photos after the ceremony, we were able to spend most of the cocktail hour enjoying the company of our guests.
Kirsten and Michael are huge fans of the pixar movie Wall-e, so it makes sense for them to have characters from that movie as cake toppers.
