From AMBphoto :The sweetest DIY barn wedding in rural Ontario focused on the brides love of lace and the outdoors. The day of the wedding rain loomed very close but held off for the ceremony - thank goodness as there was no back-up! and only started to fall as guests entered the barn for the reception. Nothing adds ambiance to a wedding day like the threat of a thunder storm at an outdoor ceremony.
Being a stylist, Laura knew she wanted to put together her and Ryan's wedding herself and spent two years collecting antique dishes from her uncles flea market packing their house full of odds and ends that would come together to decorate their reception venue.
The barn they rented was completely empty, zero lighting, tables, chairs, everything was brought in to decorate the venue. With the help of her family and friends, Laura crafted place cards, invitations and furniture all the way to the refreshment stand.

Their Love Story:
I first met Ryan in 1999 in high school. We took several classes together, were in group projects together, but never really took an interest in each other. In 2010, when I was out with my cousin one night, we bumped into Ryan and some of his friends. Ryan and I started up a conversation and really hit it off. We have been inseparable ever since. In November 2011, he hid a ring in the Christmas Tree I was decorating and asked me to be his wife. We haven't looked back since.
