This ethereal, romantic shoot was based around the movie "Tangled", perfect for brides looking for that soft, intimate feel on their wedding day. We love that this was an elopement shoot because it harmonizes beautifully with the nature of the movie- adventure, independence, and, of course, love. A perfect combination! Elegantly designed by Ashton Events, and artistically photographed by Jordan Weiland, see the rest of this shoot in the gallery here.
While creating this shoot, Ashton Events stumbled upon a friend's parachute- and knew they had to use it for the skirt of the gown. The train it created was incredible! This organic look, with a touch of shimmer and whimsy, was created by combining the skirt with a simple tank, metallic belt, and flowers in her hair.
FH weddings & Ashton Events paired up to create a simple ceremony backdrop, with hints of glimmer in the fabrics, and wrapped it with ivy. This simple, yet gorgeous, arrangement really allowed the emotion of the moment to shine through.
The reception area had a myriad of succulents, candles, and hanging stars from the trees. The cake looked like it popped right out of the movie, and the storybook aesthetic was perfectly captured by the bench seat with the "Mr. & Mrs." on the back. The table decor was incredibly lush and intimate, with soft whites and violets.
Of course this shoot wouldn't be complete without a beautiful lantern release. Adorned with wish tags for "happily every after" dreams, these lanterns lit the sky with love.
