Sweet Oahu Wedding {Michelle Garibay Events | Stephen Ludwig Photography}

Jackie and Craig are such a sweet and in love couple and were such a pleasure to work with! For their Oahu destination wedding, they envisioned a simple, but elegant and fun dinner party for their closest family and friends.
Their aqua, coral and peach color palette was the first thing that Jackie nailed down in our initial conversation, and I immediately jumped on getting the rest of their wedding design mapped out. Décor was important to them and she loved the silver lanterns, too, so I worked with the florist and created a beach-chic design incorporating bold blooms, sea fans to accent the lanterns and I punched up the elegance with the pretty white sea sponge charger plates. She selected white chairs and linen to make sure the colors really popped with the aqua napkins providing extra color detail. Their vision was a lot of fun to work with looked amazing against the natural backdrop of the private estate we booked for their venue.
From the Bride: Craig and I met at my co-worker's going away party. He happened to be college friends with my co-worker. We dated 3.5 years before we got engaged and are going to be married 4.5 years after we started dating. Craig proposed to me during a weekend getaway to Virginia Beach. We were talking on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view and sipping on some wine when he surprised me!
We both reside in Maryland but both of our family and friends live all over the country and some even live out of the country. We selected Oahu for our destination wedding - a middle ground location - where over 75% of our invited guests were able to attend.
Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined. Michelle exceeded our expectations and from the moment we spoke, we knew that she was a perfect fit for us and what we wanted to achieve. Our wedding day was beautiful and everything ran smoothly and on time. We didn't have to worry about a thing since Michelle was on top of it all! We truly enjoyed our day with our closest family and friends. Everything was amazing!
