Elise & John-Paul decided to get married in Italy and choose Siena as their wedding destination.
They travelled with their 3 years old baby boy and a few family members sharing their love for Italy and Tuscany in particular.
Blue was the colour picked as a symbol of tradition for a relaxed, non traditional wedding day.
The civil ceremony was held in one of the majestic rooms of the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena located in the renown Piazza del Campo where every summer the famous Palio horse race takes place.
After the ceremony bride and groom enjoyed a casual stroll through the medieval cobblestone streets to reach an authentic restaurant dating back to 1100.
Here, they enjoyed their meal in the wine cellar situated in an inner Etruscan house, which after the Middle Ages became a family church.
They tasted excellent home-style cooking and best local wines such as the Brunello di Montalcino.
Cheers to the newlyweds in a timeless atmosphere!
