Soft pastel wedding lit by floating lampshades under the Spanish Moss
Chandler and Cailynn’s love story began in 2021 at a camp where they met and started dating long distance until their engagement. At the time, Cailynn lived in Arkansas, while Chandler was attending the University of Georgia. He made the 12-hour drive just to take her on their first date, and from that moment on, the rest was history. When beginning to plan, Cailynn envisioned a wedding with a “South of France” vibe using soft pastels. To do this, Bethany with Hewitt Oaks incorporated decor such as hanging lanterns, greenery, Spanish moss draped over the trees, and exquisite plateware, creating a stunning atmosphere all captured on camera by Taylor Renee Photos.
Venue with a dream team
The couple chose Hewitt Oaks as their venue because it was a place dear to Cailynn's heart. She had worked there for a summer in 2019 and always dreamed of returning to marry there one day. Hewitt Oaks was more than just a venue—it was the full experience, providing everything from food and flowers to the tent, ceremony, and reception space. Its owners, Bethany and Christopher Hewitt, were a dream team— between Bethany’s design experience and Christopher’s culinary expertise, they truly made magic happen.
