The clean white color of Jonathan and Lindsay's wedding reception, coupled with the good helping of glittering gold and soft shades of pink make this soft blush and navy southern comfort wedding at the Spain Ranch one of our new favorites! Did we mention that is a blush Maggie Sottero gown that Lindsay is wearing? YAS!

From the Bride: Jonathan and I got engaged right before Christmas – perfect timing for us to hit all of the January wedding shows! We opted for a shorter engagement and began planning right away.
I have some friends that I met in the livestock circuit that owned a wedding dress shop in OKC and trusted that they could help me find the perfect dress. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with a blush Maggie Sottero gown! It was completely different than what I had envisioned myself wearing, but the Marianne stole my heart almost as fast as Jon did! I loved the look of a navy suit next to blush, so our color palette would ultimately consist of blush, navy, and gold.
Spain Ranch would be the first and last venue that we visited. As soon as we pulled in the drive, we knew it was perfect! I had always envisioned getting married in a barn. I grew up on a farm, and it was very important for both of us to choose a setting that reflected our roots in agriculture.
Spain Ranch is unlike any barn venue that you will ever see! It is so unique; the dark wooden floors perfectly contrast whitewashed walls and create a beautiful canvas for any bride to carry out her vision. More importantly, the large windows allow for so much natural light, and give you a perfect view of the grounds from all angles. It truly is a beautiful blank slate!
Floral was our choice of décor. I love the simplicity of eucalyptus and Southern Roots really came through to provide the perfect mix of greenery and soft florals. The girls put together a truly “Pinterest worthy” display of garden roses and hydrangeas on the arbor that my parents built for Jonathan and I to marry under. It was perfect!
