Canadian Lakeside Wedding: A Joyful Celebration with Sun & Smiles!
Laughter was present throughout the day at this carefree Canadian wedding! As Dariynn and Zach exchanged their vows in a lakeside ceremony, the brides infectious smile and giggles kept attitudes light even with the threat of rain. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and allowed this heart-felt celebration to continue with an outdoor reception without any interruption.

We are in love with Zach and his groomsman outfits in chambray shirts, dark khaki pants, suspenders and bow ties. Zach stood out with a snappy blue blazer.
From the Bride:There's just so much I loved about the day but a really great memory is about the weather. You can never be sure about the weather for outdoor weddings. We were all praying for the weather to be nice and sunny but as we were all getting ready on the day, it was not looking good. There were lots of grey clouds and it was spitting a little rain.
As the ceremony began and I walked up with my dad, with the music playing, the weather was not looking any better. But then, just as the song ended and we were about to begin, almost as if on cue, the clouds broke up and the sun appeared! It was so awesome!
For the processional, we used the song "Turning Page" by Sleeping at Last, and for the Recessional, "Daylight" by Matt and Kim. The bridal party came into the reception to the song "On Top Of The World" by Imagine Dragons and our first dance song was "On Fire" by Switchfoot.
We love all the handmade signs that are sprinkled throughout the day. It not only personalizes their day but, directs guests on what to do and where to go.
Cool refreshments for those warm summer weddings! An Italian soda bar is a unique spin on a signature cocktail for the reception.
My inspiration for the day was relaxed, natural, and simple. I didn't want the day to be a memory of a show or acting but rather a memory of our closest family and friends enjoying a beautiful day at the lake together. Chill out. Everything will work out the way its supposed to. Things may go wrong, but the day isn't about being perfect, its about having fun and making memories.
