Burlap and lace were the stars of the show setting the tone for a beautiful shabby chic white and champagne color palette. See them all in the full gallery here, captured by Kristen Curette Photography.
Sean and Mallory have known each other for over a decade. They were high school sweethearts, and went to prom together in 2005. After High School, Sean went to Texas A&M and Mallory to Texas State. They always kept in contact and remained friends. After they both graduated from college, they rekindled their relationship and their love has grown each day since.
Last November, Sean surprised Mallory with a trip to Napa where he re-created their prom night at Beringer winery. He asked Mallory to dance and then asked her to marry him. She of course, said yes!
Mallory & Sean were married this past summer at a new family wedding venue in Alvin, TX called Morgan Falls. Mallory stated that she wanted shabby chic and antiques. She wanted the decor and flowers to be neutral - that's why she went with white, ivory and burlap. "I wanted it to feel very relaxed and comfortable and represent mine and Sean's relationship."
Every little detail was perfect. The room was decorated from top to bottom with little cute antiques, flowers and old nostalgic high school photos of Mallory & Sean. This was the master DIY wedding.
Mallory was blessed to have amazing friends and family help her pull everything together and decorate the venue. With so much love and thoughtfulness put into their day, this DIY wedding was as perfect as Mallory and Sean hoped it would be.
See so many gorgeous details and the love unfold in the wedding film below, captured by Temi Coker.
