These two lovebirds are attorneys in Cincinnati, Ohio and met while working at the same law firm. Although their professional lives require them to be quite serious, Ashley and Steve are really self-proclaimed ‘kids in love’ that spend most of their time trying to make each other laugh. Using a pastel color palette along with vintage and rustic decor, Cedarwood Weddings designed Ashley and Steve's wedding to reflect their love of country music along with their lighthearted nature.

From Cedarwood Weddings:As huge Country Music fans, Steve and Ashley’s favorite get away city is Nashville, so they decided to get married on June 6, in conjunction with the CMA Music Festival. Designs in Paper created the most spot-on-perfect music-themed wedding invitation in the shape of a ‘record’ inviting guests to “Please join us as we become a duet” with ‘tickets’ for the RSVP. Following in harmony, a ‘gold record’ poster was signed by guests in lieu of a guest book.
Ace Photography documented Ashley and Steve’s wedding and we are impressed with the photos of Ashley and Steve in such a wide variety of Cedarwood settings. Of course, we love the great detail shots too!
Incorporating their love of country music, some of their favorite bluegrass and country songs were performed by Jace Aaron Entertainment for the ceremony and reception. We love a bluegrass rendition of Wagner’s Bridal Chorus. So country chic!
Ashley and Steve wanted an intimate, relaxed wedding, but a setting that was romantic and sophisticated as well. They felt Cedarwood had the glamorous, country feel they wanted, and told us they had confidence in our design team to create a celebration full of beautiful details that they didn’t have time to handle.
Ashley’s mother put together adorable lace and fabric gift baskets full of Tennessee based treats, including home-made peach jam and products from Nashville icon Loveless Cafe.
