Lindsay and John were married at the Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia, CA on a gorgeous day last summer. The light was amazing, late summer magic hour, and their details were incredible. Lindsay had pop's of hot pink everywhere from her toenails to the groomsmenboutineer's to the wedding cake — not to mention the completely pink candy bar that Lindsay's mother put together single-handedly.
One of my favorite things to witness on wedding days is how the Bride and Groom's nerves completely dissipate when they see each other. Lindsay and John waited until the ceremony for their first glimpse of each other (pretty rare) and my goodness - I almost started crying watching her walk down the isle to him. Their love was palpable!
The flowers were impeccably done by Pierrette Jonston from Stems & Petals and the whole place ended the night on the dance floor groovin' (there were some serious moves....) thanks to Quantum Music.
The highlight of my day with this couple was stealing away to an old abandoned mansion near the Jefferson for some quiet time and bridal portraits. The entire day was electric and full of love and happiness, it was great to be a part of it all.
