Brittany and Justin were engaged at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! Justin surprised Brittany with a trip. “It was our anniversary on the date we were going so I did not think too much of it.” While standing in line for Space Mountain their first night, Justin became antsy when the firework show started. He told Brittany that they had to go, but after waiting in line for the ride for so long, Brittany convinced him to wait. After, they raced to the castle where a crowd of people waited to have their photo taken.
Justin disappeared to talk to the Disney employees and returned saying that since it was their anniversary, the two were allowed to skip the line. So, in front of the castle, with fireworks lighting of the sky, Justin asked Brittany to close her eyes. “When he told me I could open them, my world changed. I never in my life thought I would get a proposal like the one I got or a man as thoughtful as he is. Seriously ... how sweet was that?
Advice from the bride - Get a photographer you are comfortable with! I do not like solo portraits and Kelly was very understanding of that. She was also not pushy when it came to posing. She let Justin and I talk and enjoy our moments being together and when we needed guidance she stepped in. I also heard from multiple guests that they did not see Kelly or the second photographer which they thought was very professional.
Justin and I felt like we hit the jackpot hiring her as our photographer and I couldn't imagine having anyone else. She was patient and kept me calm in nerve wrecking and stressful moments. It was like having another bridesmaid take photos. I was very lucky to have her.
Have a designated person that you trust collect your gifts at the end of your wedding.
I did not think about this and at the end of my wedding my gifts were left sitting on the table. Friends and family helped me collect them all but some gifts did not make it back home with us and guests had to mail in cards that they picked up for us. To avoid any heartache I would definitely tell brides to select someone they trust to keep and transfer their gifts for them because with all of the excitement of the wedding you don't want to stress about lost gifts.
We love that they also had our favorite Nothing Bundt Cakes at their wedding as well. These are so incredible delicious and such a treat. We want one!
