Marsha and Trent started out as best friends in kindergarten and ended up as best friends for life. The love they share is sweet and heartfelt and one hundred percent evident in their beautiful wedding.
They tied the knot in the gorgeous mural room of the Santa Barbara Courthouse and then danced the night away at the Casa de la Guerra courtyard. The gray and yellow palette adds perfect pops of cheer and whimsy to this already beautiful day. Be sure to see every last detail of this Santa Barbara yellow and gray wedding in theĀ full gallery here all captured by Alyssa Armstrong.
The bride's stunning bouquet fromĀ Kaleidoscope Flowers beautifully complimented her graceful Maggie Sottero gown. We love a bride that isn't afraid to go bright with florals! The orange and yellow bridesmaids bouquets and sandals brightened up their gray dresses and tie in with the bride perfectly.
Brides are constantly looking for new traditions to proclaim their love during their ceremony. Steal worthy idea: plant a tree during your ceremony to symbolize the unity of the love you share with your new husband. It is an ancient tradition shared amongst many of the worlds cultures. A cute tip for your own tree plating ceremony: bring two different containers full of soil, one with soil from a place special to the groom and the other special to the bride, to create sentimental ties to the unifying as one!
At the reception, the newly planted tree was used to hang warm wishes from the guests and also served as a guestbook. The cutest ideas are often the simplest! Marsha and Trent gave samples of their favorite teas, in dainty white boxes, to their guests as favors.
