Lexie and Koë met while both were studying at Loyola Marymount University but never got the chance to actually talk much. Fortunately, after they graduated they wound up in the same social circles, and the more they ran into each other, the more they discovered their undeniable connection! Soon this pair became inseparable. After three years of dating, Koë planned an intimate proposal at their house in Los Angeles, and before they knew it, they were planning this gorgeous Carmel, California wedding with the help of Pocketful of Plans.
The most important thing to Lexie and Koë when planning their wedding was to create a warm, inviting, and fun environment for their guests, which The Delauras captured perfectly on camera! Using this atmosphere goal, the couple worked backwards to create the look that would match. They fell in love with the Tehama Golf Club in Carmel, California, for its refined rustic elegance, warm wood tones, Spanish tiles, and expansive outdoor setting.
For their simple outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course, Lexie wore a whimsical A-line dress by Eisen Stein Bridal from Kinsley James Couture Bridal with floral embroidery that covered the bodice and trailed down the skirt. Her bridesmaids wore light gray-purple satin dresses, while the groom and his groomsmen donned traditional black-tie suits courtesy of Randy Reisman.
For the ceremony, Lexie, Koë, and florist Fleurs du Soleil designed large clay pedestal pots overflowing with white and peach florals surrounded by greenery. The pieces not only created an elevated yet natural design for their "altar," but also coordinated with the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to a tee.
Guests were greeted at the reception by a rattan-screen seating chart which had been custom-built by a family friend. The space was filled with mauve, orange, and white roses, as well as chrysanthemums to complement the cozy, Mediterranean-style interior.

After taking sunset photos on the links, Lexie and Koë joined their guests inside, where Lexie changed into a festive, feather-trimmed party dress to dance the night away! Before really starting the party, however, the couple cut into their luxuriously minimalist wedding cake by Layers Sensational Cakes that featured delicate pearl trim and warm floral accents.
