Bride Austin wore a stunning button-back wedding gown designed by Soleil James; she found her dress at Blue Sage Bridal in Richmond, Virginia. Paired with romantic hair and makeup by Royal Makeup & Hair, she radiated timeless beauty. Her groom Andy wore a sharp navy suit with orange floral tie to match.
Austin’s bouquet by Hey Jude Florals included elements of fluffy ferns and greenery, mimicking the natural flow of the day’s uninhibited florals. The bridal party fashionably matched the floral design; bridesmaids wore terracotta orange dresses, while groomsmen wore navy blue suits accented by orange floral ties.
The private residence where the couple wed in Savannah, Georgia, was surrounded by a mix of trees and palms. Two white pillars rested in the grass, where a bouquet sat atop each one. The ceremony overlooked the nearby waterway as guests sat in the grass, shaded by trees. The couple was joined by a butterfly, which fluttered around them during their ceremony. Austin knew it was a sign from her grandmother.
“Austin had just moved back to Richmond, Virginia when she first met Andy. At the time, she had been spending most of her weekends going out of town for solo climbing trips. After receiving an invite from a college friend, Austin decided it would be a good idea to connect with more friends. She met with the group for a relaxed hang out at a nearby brewery. Andy was also there that afternoon. It took a little while for the two to start chatting, but Austin perked up when she heard Andy mention his dream of living in a bus to travel. Plans for an official first date were made before the evening had ended. In 2021, the couple took a trip to Cabo for a vacation. They were lying out by the pool one day when Andy suggested that Austin meet him on the beach in ten minutes. Andy had found an alcove, set up a camera, and proposed to Austin.”

After the ceremony, guests were transported via Old Savannah Tours trolley to their reception at Cha Bella, a local farm-to-table restaurant where dining took place on a covered brick patio with high ceilings.
Uniquely suspended between the indoors and outdoors, vintage chandeliers decorated the space along with long curtains draped along the exterior. Lush plants surrounded the patio with citrus trees and birds of paradise. Teal blue signage was printed with vintage fonts, marking the seating chart and table numbers in golden frames - creating a rustic yet modern feel to the reception designed by Sutlan + Co.
The lively and warm atmosphere of Cha Bella could be felt throughout the night's festivities. Their wedding cake from Publix, adorned in thistles and roses, was accompanied by potted herbs as it sat in front of a wall of greenery. Austin could be spotted enjoying the swings in the outdoor space while guests enjoyed bohemian lounge spaces.
