Yarn wrapped bottles, hand painted block numbers, mismatched wrapped books - only a few of the rustic wedding decor ideas that you will find in our next feature. All these lovely wedding ideas were designed with love for a family member by Mayhar Designs.
Designing for a client is one thing, but when family is involved you know it has to be good. We are positive that Ashleigh's entire family was super duper impressed when they laid eyes on her craftiness. We loved the way all the details turned out, so much that we have a diy wedding project from Mayhar Designs coming up. Not only will you find it useful, but it is easy peasy lemon squeezy.
From Mayhar Designs
A couple of months ago, a sweet, future family member asked if we would mind assisting with a few decorative elements throughout her wedding. She had already decided on colors (coral, mustard & green) and knew that she wanted a wedding infused with rustic DIY details. After several conversations about style, décor options and the color “coral,” we came up with a plan! “Coral,” we decided, would be somewhere between a soft yet ruddy peach and pink, centerpieces would incorporate rustic vintage books and bottles with a fresh twist, and we would add splashes of color and life to various nooks and crannies with our favorite supplies. We had so much fun working on this wedding, and we hope you enjoy what we came up with!
How much do you love all the rustic wedding decor ideas? What really makes them so great is that they could easily be used again to decorate the new couple's home. We must say we that we really like the yarn wrapped frame and the lace frame. Not sure how easy the yarn wrapped frame is to make, but the lace frame seems like a doable project - we also love how the gold, "R" placed in front of it adds another level and personalization.
Each of the hand-stenciled block table numbers are all wrapped with different rustic elements - like lace, twine and yarn. You can buy similar unfinished wooden blocks and Joanne's for 2.99 for a four pack. Talk about budget friendly!
Yup ... we know you love those lace wrapped mason jars filled with tea lights. Such a great idea to line windows for that extra special romantic touch.
