Rustic Tamarack Winter Wedding: Snowfall, Blush Pinks, and Woodsy Decor

Couple embraces during a snowy wedding in a winter forest

Erin + Derek said their 'I dos' in record snow fall at the Tamarack Resort in Idaho. Their beautiful day designed by Bliss Events was filled with more than just snow, however. Gorgeous full bloom bouquets + florals from Flowers At Will adorned the tables along with woodsy inspired decor and geometric shapes.
This is a winter wedding you must see to believe, so be sure to view the full gallery here for more rustic Tamarack winter wedding highlights, beautifully captured by Two Bird Studio.

Blush pinks

My bridesmaids,  consisted of my pregnant maid of honor, my amazing girlfriend, the groom’s sister, and our dog of honor. My Maid of Honor and bridesmaid wore Donna Morgan’s “Olivia” dress, a matte, sequined, long dress in a blush pink, topped off with fun faux fur coats. Derek’s sister wore a blush pink suit, which was not easy to find, while the Dog of Honor wore a custom harness and leash, topped with a fresh flower collar. The groomsmen wore gray tweed wool coats, perfect for the season.

Idaho flowers

Our flowers from Flowers At Will were out of this world stunning. I am a sucker for beautiful flowers and Will exceeded my expectations. For my bouquet, I had asked something more linear. He achieved that and provided, the biggest, heaviest, most drop dead gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen.

Snowy Chapel

The venue had a unique tie for the groom and myself. Long before I even knew about Derek, he and his Los Angeles residing family had a cabin at Tamarack Resort, nestled in the heart of Idaho. Being an Idaho born and raised girl, I knew I wanted to wed in the Gem State. When we decided on a venue that would represent mutual ties, Tamarack was a no brainer.

Let it snow

I had hoped and prayed for snow all year along, and when winter came around, I more than had my wish granted as our venue had record snow fall this season. Everything was white, soft, and beautiful. To top it all off, on the day of the wedding, it was just ever-so-lightly snowing, making for some incredible photos and an experience I’ll never forget.

Woodsy & pretty

Our wedding style can best be described as “Woodsy Winter Wedding with Geometric Influence.” The space was filled with precious woodland animals, including an adorable cake topper of deer bride and groom, modern gold geometric shapes, and touches of natural rocks. Even our stationary products embodied this unique and somewhat obscure theme.
