One thing we didn't want to spend a whole lot on was paper goods. We had an awesome friend help design our invitations and the rest my husband and I did on our own. Fun, but definitely time consuming.
Don't stress the little things and enjoy every moment. Sometimes I wish I would've taken my own advice. Also, soak in every moment because the day does pass you by in the blink of an eye. Live. Laugh. And Love!
My favorite DIY project my husband and I did was our guest sign bench. We wanted something unique and something we could cherish every time we walk through our front door. We found a vintage headboard on Craigslist and found an old wooden bench on the side of the road!
Luckily, my husband is a smart and crafty person when it comes to building things. It came out to be one of the most amazing decor pieces for our wedding and it means so much to us.
The idea of country rustic was running through my mind and I wanted a venue that would fit exactly that idea. I Googled all sorts of venues and Windmill Winery just caught my eyes from the pictures of the previous weddings held there. I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue that fit us. We fell in love instantly and knew it was the perfect place for us!
