A Sweet, Rustic, Vintage Wedding
We wanted simple and elegant with the focus on florals and greenery, not specific colors. We had all white linens with pops of color from the greenery and flowers. The location gave everything a vintage feel as well which we loved.
We designed our own wedding invitations with the help of some close friends, and we painted all of our own signs for the wedding with the help of some close friends.
Losing Your Cool
Joe’s Favorite Memory: We didn’t choose to do a first look so the moment I saw Ashley turn the corner to start heading down the aisle I totally lost it. I woke up that morning thinking I had everything together and that I wouldn’t cry but, that wasn't the case. She looked so beautiful and in that moment, thinking about spending the rest of my life with Ash, I couldn't hold back my emotion. That was my favorite memory.
A Sweet Ceremony Idea
Ashley’s Favorite Memory: I had so many great memories from the night but, I loved when Joe read me the promises he wrote to me. We chose to write each other promises before we read the traditional vows. Hearing the beautiful words he wrote me brought me to tears. His words were so close to my heart and meant so much to me. I will never forget that moment.
Music To Our Ears
We really loved choosing our music together for our wedding! We would listen to all of our favorite songs in the car and just jam out. Whichever ones gave us the goosebumps while we were imagining them playing were the ones we chose.
