Katie and Jason's family and friends gathered on the bride's parents' property in the Durango mountains for their adorably rustic wedding. The ceremony was steeped in love and family tradition as Katie and Jason said 'I do' under a handmade alter and rode away on a vintage tandem bike.

From the Bride:
The day was like a dream! Looking back I remember snap shots of joy spread throughout the evening. The weather kept everyone on their toes, including an anxious bride, but by that point the nuptials were happening outside, in rain or shine. By the grace of God the clouds rolled away (right as I walked down the aisle). A gorgeous sunset, followed by stars, showing off the night.
The wedding was a fantastic blur that I will never forget. One thing that got missed in the blur was our photo booth/guest book. We had it set up a little off to the side of the main reception area, but only about 8 guests participated. It would have been a good idea to have the D.J. continue to announce it, and have more signs directing attention that way.
All of the mouth watering desserts at Katie and Jason's reception were carefully crafted by the team at The Yellow Carrot. Their reliable, imaginative and flexible expertise will guide you through the process to ensure no detail will be forgotten. They take the work out of your wedding; all you have to do is Eat, Drink and Be Married!
