When Luke and Vanessa envisioned their wedding day they wanted people to feel like they were at a fun party, rather than a formal affair. They both knew they wanted a live band, food truck and lots of wine to go around to keep guests happy!
Their big day looked like an absolute blast and was gorgeous to boot! Gather up some of their gorgeous rustic blush winery wedding ideas when you peruse the full gallery here, photographed by Kelsey Kay of Ken Kienow Wedding Photography.
As we packed up the car and headed four hours north to Paso Robles, we left all our cares behind and started to enjoy our wedding weekend. Our first pit stop was Krispy Kreme Donuts, followed by hours of pump up songs and group texts with our family and friends who were eager to share our excitement with us. The wedding day arrived, the boys had brunch, hung out in downtown Paso, while the girls drank mimosas and got ready to Taylor Swift blasting throughout the house.
The ceremony was perfect, even though the wind blew my veil off (something that will always make me laugh) and the reception was by far the most joyous time of our lives, filled with laughing, dancing and lots of hugs. If we could relive the whole thing, I would, but for now we will enjoy newlywed bliss.
Our best decision was booking our vendors about eight months in advance to secure some of the best in the area. Once the wedding date got closer it was fun putting all the crafty things together like table numbers, the seating chart board, chalkboard signs etc. it wouldn't be a wedding without a million Pinterest ideas.
A tip I was given by my mom, that I would pass down to any bride, is to let everything go the day of the wedding and have fun. To stay stress-free on the morning of the wedding try to exercise, keep the mimosa intake to a minimum, eat something healthy and surround yourself with good people.
