The sun was high and bright, not a cloud in sight, and a warm breeze swept through the air. Minutes before, she was standing in a room full of girls, her best ones, pink sparkling everything and giggles everywhere, fluffing the tulle of her dress and fawning over the rest. She was a real-life princess. Now, she stood behind a yellow wall at the end of a long path, the one that led to her real-life prince. Her rock. Her solid center and compass constant.
It’d been nine years since the Lord called his Dad home, but he was there. He always is. Made manifest in his son’s kindness and gentleness to everyone, but especially her, his bride and almost wife. And as he looked down at the wristwatch he wore in memoriam to his dad, she took her first steps toward him and their moment together. He turned. She looked up. The expressions on their faces said more than words could. Her tears, his happiness, and every ounce of their story mixed together in a moment that made it a magical one.
From the bride: One thing that was very important to me was to ensure that every friend and family member enjoyed the day just as much as we did. Although I plan events both social and corporate for a living and had no problem planning the wedding it was absolutely without a doubt essential to have a Day of Coordinator! She is the one that over saw the day and allowed all our friends and family to enjoy the day just as much as we did!
