Gorgeous fall wedding

From Daniel Lopez Perez Photography: Claire & Travis' fall wedding was the most beautiful way to accent the gorgeous fall colors with their wedding decor. Even though this couple lives in Kansas City, they decided to have their wedding in Omaha, where Claire is from originally. The bridesmaids looked incredible in their burgundy chiffon dresses all wrapped in different styles to suit them individually and the florals popped with different shades of red to pull together this unequivocally "red wedding."

Funny socks and a beautiful church

The groomsmen looked dapper in their suits from Jos A. Bank and had their funny socks, each with a special significance of how they met the groom. Their ceremony took place at the First Congregational Church, an incredible building in midtown Omaha that was originally built in 1922. Their officiant was a good friend of theirs who kept things personal for this intimate ceremony.

Famous trolley ride

An Omaha wedding wouldn't have been complete without a ride in the famous Ollie the Trolley, a staple of wedding day celebrations in Omaha since the 1980's. Post-ceremony, the bridal party headed in style to downtown Omaha for photos and the modern-industrial reception venue called Founders One Nine.

The red wedding

The bridal table was adorned with a deep red table-cloth, gold geometric candle frames and a bed of eucalyptus and other greens. They coined their wedding "The Red Wedding" for various reasons, most of which were because of their amazing hair color. The reception turned into a party after the band, Twice on Sunday, began playing. With hit after hit, this band from KC rocked the party until late in the evening, when Ollie the Trolley came back to pick everyone up and take people home in style.

Don't forget to Breath and relax

From the bride: This is probably the most commonly shared advice, but on the big day it’s important to take a big breath and relax. Ask a close friends or wedding planner to handle the day-of details, and trust that they’ll tackle any issues that come up. This is your only day to have when you have all your people in one place, so enjoy it!
