Romantic Copper & Blush Sonoma Wedding: Adventurous Love Story Unveiled

Pretty shades of blush, burgundy, peach and copper set the tone for Kevin + Holly's dreamy wedding at the Sonoma Golf Club in California. Their love for adventure and travel was the inspiration behind their stylish decor. From their guestbook globe, to the custom copper mug favors, their amazing day was one for the books!

Adventurous couple

A couple who had their first date jumping out of an airplane and who have since visited over 35 countries together, we knew Holly and Kevin were going to be an adventurous pair to work with right from the get-go (and we wouldn’t want it any other way).

Romantic details

Blush linens and wild, untamed florals in deep wine, ivory and peach all worked to compliment the copper hues throughout and made for a cohesive design that was both romantic and adventurous (much like Holly and Kevin). Shotgun Floral Studio lined the ceremony aisle thick with floral arrangements and loose petals, and peppered in brass lanterns for an added touch of romance.

Custom copper mugs

The couple chose Sonoma Golf Club as their venue and, more than anything, wanted an intimate affair with a small wedding party to keep the focus on the important part of the day--the fact that two best friends were marrying each other. Much of the design inspiration originated from Holly’s vision of custom copper mugs. We wove copper details into the aesthetic wherever we could, from the wedding invitation suite to vases for florals.

Woodsy & charming

For the reception, Holly and Kevin really wanted to bring the outdoors in, so we worked with Shotgun Floral Studio to bring in tons of greenery and completed natural aesthetic by covering the chandeliers in thick, ethereal vines. Muted green linens and deep green foliage were given depth by pops of burgundies, peaches and coppers--making for an aesthetic both woodsy and charming (and one that reminded Holly of her roots in western woods of Maine).
