Erica and Jessie not only met in High School, but also went back to the location where it all began to start the new chapter of their lives! Jessie blindfolded Erica and drove her in circles so she wouldn’t know where they were going. (They live in a very small town) He lured her to the High School stadium where he proposed, and of course she said, "Yes."
All photographed by Brittany Lauren Photography and held at the unbelievable Oregon wedding venue Roloff Farms. You can see all the details in the full gallery here, and be sure to read on, Erica goes into full detail on her wedding budget. You know we love that.
From Brittany Lauren Photography
Erica chose to have a barn wedding at the new Roloff Farms venue in Portland, Oregon. Finding inspiration from the gorgeous barn and views Erica and her mother ran with the country chic theme and handmade almost all the decorations while Jessie was deployed with the navy (they are both in the military). They cut all the burlap themselves, hand-made all of the signs that decorated the venue, painted tons of mason jars, made pillows and throws for all the hay bails, found reclaimed lumber to use as a runner for their gorgeous tables, and 100% committed to their theme of shabby/country chic.
Even though there were a ton of details all around us, you could tell that each and every one of them meant something. Erica and her family put effort into their details and they were somehow related or connected to Jessie and their love. They had pictures of them everywhere. Showcasing their lives up to this point and celebrating their new life together.
If you have ever watched the TLC show, Little People Big World, than you will recognize where Erica and Jessie got married. None other than Roloff Farms.
Not only did they have crazy cake, they also had the coolest log filled with hand torched s'mores, yummy! The presentation looks so amazing. Loving the idea.

From Erica on her wedding budget
I wouldn't have changed anything. I think the best choice was having two dresses! It felt good to get the heavy dress off .
As for budget, since it was on tv we had some discounts on services but I will give you an estimate.
Cake $700
Dress $1200
Photography with all rights $1100 (engagement & wedding)
Venue $500 (normally $2500 if not on TV)
Catering $3400
Rentals $3200
Alcohol $800 (2 signature drinks, wine cooler, and one beer on tap)
DIY cost $1500 for all supplies
Homemade benches $600
We made most decor:
All burlap chair ties
Mason jar (decorated)
Wood candle holders
Pillows
Hay seating covers
Card box
Programs & menus (we designed, printed, and assembled)
Chalkboard numbers
Drink menu display
Directional signs
Overall we spent approximately $20,000. I cant exactly remember the total cost of each thing but that is my best guess ,I think that covers most of it!
