From the Bride On Their Georgia backyard wedding:Luckily, the venue has been in Flynt's family for several generations, and he has a strong attachment to the property itself, so not only was it a gorgeous backdrop, but it also contributed greatly to Flynt's upbringing. We couldn't have picked a better place with more significance in our lives.
We wanted a wedding that epitomized who we are as a couple: fun and relaxed. Our ceremony was intimate with only 15 guests, while our reception began an hour later and was much larger.
A bit of advice for the bride-and-groom-to-be: have a built-in break between your ceremony and reception for the two of you to sit down and eat together.
