Sedona Arizona has some breathtaking landscape that makes for some stunning wedding backdrops but we have to say it was really the rain at this red rocks in the rain wedding that stole the show. From an umbrella accented outdoor ceremony to rustic tented reception that turned into a rain soaked mosh pit by the end of the night; we can't get enough of this carefree couple!

From the Bride: A piece of advice, which totally goes against the norm, is have more than one maid of honor! I had 3 maids of honor and no bridesmaids. The reason I did this is because I have known all 3 girls since I was little (pre-school, kindergarten, and as a baby).
Since they were all maids of honor, I was able to designate tasks to them so that one person didn't have all of the burden. I had one MOH throw the bridal shower, one MOH give the speech, and one MOH helped with making a lot of the decorations for the wedding. They all played an important role in my wedding because they have each played huge roles in my life.
It started raining during my ceremony. Surprisingly I didn't start freaking out when it was raining. We both stayed calm and continued through the ceremony. My wedding planner got out the umbrellas for us and it actually looked great in the photos!
Are you in love with the the rain on this fabulous day? Us too! We also wanted to share with you another one of our favorite rainy day weddings, check out Jenna and Travis's Lake Tahoe Rainy Day Wedding!
On the bright side, because of the rain and cool weather I feel like the guests were more comfortable being outside. If it had been sunny and hot people would be sweating in their suits and it would have been more uncomfortable. We did have a tent for the reception which helped protect us from the rain.
However, it rained so much that the water started seeping into the tent, making the grass muddy. By the end of the night everyone was muddy! The dance flood was covered with mud but surprisingly no on slipped. I had mud all over the bottom of my dress but I didn't care because I'm never wearing the dress again. I feel like my guest still had a great time despite the rain!
