From Blooming House Collective: Tori and Jory's wedding ceremony took place overlooking a pond on a family-owned, Texas ranch. Mismatched wooden seating for the guests was set before a beautiful wooden pergola. The drapery was custom designed specifically for this special day using a burgundy chiffon fabric and hung along side a 18 foot, silver dollar eucalyptus garland.
Placed throughout the ceremony, was hand-painted signage topped with red hanging amaranthus to coordinate with the burgundy found in the drapery, groom's bow-tie, and bride's bouquet.
For the reception, the same color elements were carried over from the ceremony. A custom seating assignment displays greeted the guests and were made using barn yard frames, ripped fabric and calligraphy name cards.
Hand-painted fabric banners were attached to the couple's dinner table, cake table, and dessert table. Each table was uniquely curated with custom built table numbers, floral arrangements, antique candle holders, vintage chargers and our hand-made macramé weaves

From the Bride: I thought planning a wedding in 9 months would be plenty of time to create our dream wedding. While the wedding ended up being everything we wanted, we were very rushed and crunched for time in the last month. I wish I would have spread the tasks out over the 9 months instead of waiting until the last few months to really make final decisions.
Unexpected budgeting:
Our initial wedding budget was $14,000. My Dad told us this upfront and my husband and I agreed to pay anything that went over. Well we went over. Nearly $6,000 more than planned.
Booking the venue was convenient and easy because food, tables, chairs, linens, and table floral arrangements were included in the cost. Then you tack on photography, stylist, DJ, photo booth, rentals, alchohol, gifts, details in decorations, and before you know it, you've spent more than planned. However, I would not go back and take away any of it.
Everything we included in our wedding was exactly what we wanted and helped create the vision we were going for. I also found out 3 months after we got engaged that I was pregnant and had already purchased a dress. So a chunk of our budget went to buying a second dress.
