Answering the question: What would a luxury wedding planner do?

Alexandra and Kapa married over a three-day event in their hometown of Queenstown, New Zealand. As a wedding planner herself, Alexandra led the planning with 99% of the day being a complete surprise to Kapa. During the planning process, they focused on their key priorities of food, entertainment, and memories to create a chic, timeless, and absolutely epic party for 180 of their nearest and dearest who travelled in for the week to celebrate. Photographed by Danelle Bohane and hosted under a clear glass "tent," this wedding answers the question: "What would a luxury wedding planner do?"

Guests enjoyed personalized cocktail ice blocks, family-brewed beers, and a karaoke session that brought everyone to their feet. For those staying at the venue, an IV drip station was set up to help revitalize anyone needing a bit of recovery after the fun-filled day.

The key to personalization: Friends!

As a wedding planner herself at Alexandra Kate Creative, Alexandra expertly coordinated every detail of the event, alongside her dedicated team. The day was a perfect reflection of their vision: to involve as many loved ones as possible in their celebration. A close friend officiated the ceremony, while Kapa’s cousin serenaded Alexandra down the aisle. Every vendor was handpicked from Alexandra’s trusted network of industry friends, ensuring the day was not only beautifully designed but also personally meaningful.
