Whether you are into the baby blue Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider they decked out in blue and white flowers and drove from the church to their reception; or maybe you can't get enough of classic bridal style that Bex was sporting for the day. What ever it is that has you over the moon about this wedding, we wanted to let you know you can see more of everything in the full gallery thanks to the talents of Les Amis Photo!

Italian Getaway Wedding

From Super Tuscan Wedding Planners: This is the story of Alex and Bex wedding, a lovely couple that have been together since 2009! They both held the same vision of an unforgettable Italian escape for their family and friends. They chose to get married on Sunday and to offer their guests a weekend to visit San Gimignano or Volterra and plenty of on site activities.

The wedding ceremony was held at the church of Santa Cristina in a nearby small village, Castel San Gimignano. This lovely tiny church is located in the centre of Castel San Gimignano. The village was built as a castle fortress to stand guard between San Gimignano and Volterra and it still has medieval atmosphere, that all guests enjoyed! Outside the church, two large vases with white and green flowers welcomed the guests. Inside all was beautiful with a white carpet for the aisle, gypsophila bouquet for pews and, on the altar, a horizontal iron pole decorated with a cascade of greenery. The Ceremony was held by a priest friend of the couple, so it was touching and familiar! Bells ringing after the ceremony sealed this unforgettable moment!

A Cozy Little Reception

After the ceremony and a toast in a small bar in the village, a coach collected the guests and took them them back to the Borgo, where the reception took place. Bride & Groom arrived in their amazing Alfa Giulia Spider! This is when the celebrations began! The notes of a gorgeous Swing jazz band entertained and warmed the atmosphere for aperitif and dinner!

Round dinner tables were decorated with small bottles with flowers and olive branches tied on napkins. Dinner was tasty, with local tuscan food, and it was not the classic seated dinner; people actually couldn't resist the combination of soulful and foot-tapping melodies played by the band and danced!

Build Your Own Wedding Cake

The wedding cake, Millefoglie with berries and chantilly cream, was assembled in front of guests and served in the courtyard and followed by dessert tea and coffee! And then, it was time for dancing! Dancers and non dancers enjoyed a Midnight Snack with Tuscan Grilled Sausages and Grilled Vegetables, served with homemade bread!

Finally, to leave the party, Bride & Groom chose a “sparkling” way! All guests lit up a sparkler and created a tunnel of light where Alex & Bex passed and said goodbye in a spectacular way! This really was a wedding with so much love, food and fun!
