For some, the idea of a giant wedding with tons of people is the stuff of nightmares! Keep calm and keep things small like this quaint little wedding in the woods.
Sarah and Geoff passed on the large wedding party and just invited the closest of their family and friends to join them on their big day, which was absolutely stunning. The gorgeous images from this intimate event, captured by Kimberly Carlson, will leave you wishing for more. Which we have in the full gallery here!
With a ceremony under the trees and a reception in a cozy cabin near by complete with a bonfire and tree stump seating, Sarah and Geoff created an intimate boho wedding in the woods.
Choosing not to have a wedding party they celebrated closely with family and a few friends. Inspired by DIY boho/woodsy elements, and with the help of family, they pulled it off perfectly!
From the Bride: One thing that I would say, is be thorough when looking at venues...we loved where it was and definitely achieved the intimidate woodsy feel we were going for but found out after the fact they had a building that might have allowed us to have more people inside instead of some seated outside and inside.
We wanted the one long table concept but ended up splitting it up to match our cute little space. Ask lots of questions and be thorough on your venue hunt! And utilize Pinterest!
Keep the evening cozy with a self serve coffee bar! Stock it with all the goodies, flavored syrups, half and half, almond milk, whip cream and anything else that your caffeinated heart desires.
