With all the ease and confidence of tying the knot with your best friend, this purple summer wedding will inspire you to keep things simple. Ceremony flowers from Trader Joe's and a reception in a friends garden, it doesn't get much more laid back then this.

From the Bride: I wanted to add a trendy vintage style to our "traditional white church wedding" and make it our own. For the ceremony entrance decor, I used thrift store finds, chalkboard paint, and wood to give it a natural feel. I also gathered vases from thrift stores and tied burlap string around them. We filled the vases with Trader Joe's flowers which seemed to look as though they were picked from a garden and that was exactly what I was looking for!
Our reception was held in a friend's backyard called Gigi's Garden, it was just what I wanted to capture our wedding day! It almost felt as though I was getting married in my own backyard which naturally made me want to take off my shoes and enjoy the natural beauty of the moment!
