Wayne and Lisa's purple and pink classic wedding is a stellar example a gorgeous wedding. From the bride's soft pink heels to the romantic flower petal covered ceremony aisle.
So many swoon worthy details to steal from, you must see them full gallery here. All fabulously captured by Brittney Kreider Photography.
From the Bride: We wanted a place that was an "almost destination" wedding, where most of the guests could drive to but still stay for the weekend if they wanted. Since I am from the Poconos and Wayne is from Baltimore, we settled on historic and scenic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and we fell in love with Riverdale Manor.
We used fall-inspired jewel tones of purples, pinks, and reds with hints of gold to pop against the ivory linens and incorporated touches of lace, doilies, wood, and owls throughout the day. Once the florist added her finishing touches of the overflowing greenery, bold colors, and succulents everywhere, my vision of a romantic woodland-inspired wedding came to life.
I read the advice/regrets from other brides (for example: make room in your budget for a videographer; leave at least 10-15% wiggle room in your budget for unexpected charges; trust your vendors--you hired them for a reason!) and, luckily, I have no regrets of my own.
