From Jacqueline Kay Photography: Kelsey and Zach's wedding was absolutely stunning! Their wedding was held on an island at the bride's parents home in Fallbrook, CA. When I first heard that they planned to build a dock to have the ceremony on, I knew that this was going to be one gorgeous wedding! Sure enough, Kelsey and Zach's wedding was jaw dropping beautiful!
We had set up a huge tent area for where the long banquet tables were, along with the dance floor. There were flowers everywhere, another one of my requests; I wanted it green and earthy, not stuffy and clean. There were fire pits with hay bail seats all around them, wine barrel cocktail tables, and an old rustic bar off to the side.
And then the party started, we served some delicious barbeque and drank some VERY amazing wine. By far, my favorite part of the whole evening were the toast, my maids of honor only embarrassed me a little, my brothers came up and gave a little comic relief, and then my father gave the toast to end all toast. If I could go back and relive 30 minutes of my wedding, other than saying “I do”, it would be to hear the toast again.
From Love Weddings With Leanne:Tenting the reception made a great central homey location to enjoy the event. Their cake was a homemade carrot cake from the groom's mom, which they decided to cut with the grooms pocket knife instead of the serving piece, while the guests feasted on homemade pies and cookies!
