A singer-songwriter and his bride married under an old oak tree on a Nashville farm with hundreds of countryside acres on either side. Peonies and pink roses decorated the whole day. The lush organic feel of the flowers lent the day and relaxed and romantic atmosphere.
Every little detail, designed by Fete Nashville, from this pretty pink Tennessee wedding is absolutely stunning, but we'll let the pictures do the talking. See them all in the full gallery here, photographed by Evin Photography.
This wedding was an absolute dream! After our initial meeting at the client’s home, I could already envision all the major details. Their home is so unique; filled with tons of antiques mixed with contemporary items, personal touches, quirky details and so many items the couple had made themselves! They love to re-purpose antiques into shelves, frames, tables, flowerpots, and so much of the decor is handmade; many times gifts from the groom to his beloved bride.
Gold lanterns adorned with perfectly picked peonies, roses and eucalyptus hung from the massive tree that served as the alter. Our favorite details included the bright colors in the flowers - corals, bright pinks, peaches and lots of textured greenery. The dinner plates were mix and match vintage floral designs in pinks, purples, and gold. For the head table we used light blue vintage mismatched water goblets and light blue and gold vintage china plates.
Down the head table was the most luscious mix of greens in a garland that puddled onto the floor on both ends with dozens of big baroness and Juliet garden roses, coral charm peonies, and light pink astilbe tucked in between vintage gold pillar candlesticks. Each member of the bridal party’s gold calligraphic place cards were held up by a tiny white bunny with gold-dipped paws. Traditional gold flatware that looked like it had been handed down from generations ago contrasted perfectly with the barn wood farm tables.
Besides the gorgeous open-aired barn with breathtaking views, the focal point of this reception was surely the four-tiered gold wedding cake covered with flowers and greenery sitting on top of a freshly cut tree stump covered in moss. And it tasted as good as it looked!
