From the Bride:The invitation suite by Eleven Note fully captured the essence of glamour and whimsy in each layer. Vellum envelopes hand painted with gold edging and navy print were the perfect capsule for the colorful pieces within. Gold embossing on an ombre’d water color background made a lasting impression on extra thick textured paper. Also enclosed within a navy envelope was the information booklet highlighting personalized landmarks and characters on the front cover map, as well as a timeline of events spanning both inside pages.
Bridesmaids wore a beautifully blended collage of flowing silk chiffon styles by Amsale and Dessy. Personalized initial necklaces were created by Renegade Designs and gifted to each of the girls by the Bride. Inner aisles accented with paper roses in sea glass bottles, and extra-large balloons flanked the outer aisles... later to be utilized in the bridal party photos Flower girls carried larger than life crepe paper flowers (almost like a parasol) made by the bride, a crowd favorite! We stood under a reclaimed wood arch accented with magnolia and cedar branches.
Grand display of handmade paper flowers by Renegade Designs in ivory with accents of coral and gold, organically displayed on a vintage iron cot. Hand cut petals were sculpted, water colored, and embellished to evoke the bride's personality and unique style. Utilizing brass lamps as escort card holders was a unique and subtle reference to the bride’s career in interior design. The bride took a spin-off of the custom logo created by Eleven Note, and created a beautiful string art piece as a keepsake for their future home.
When thinking back over the day, my BEST decision was to wear a 2nd dress for the reception! It was a last minute choice, and the best one I made. My dress was so large and full and beautiful, but definitely heavy! I was so thankful to switch into the chiffon gown "borrowed" from my sister and maid of honor. If I could go back and change anything, it would be to slow down and take more pictures throughout the reception with my family and other guests. You think you will see them again, but the night flies by so fast! Also, I would have planned a song for my brothers and I to dance to.
