Inspired by the beginning of peony season, this elegant spring shoot was brought together by some of the most creative local vendors in the area. We chose the colors based off of classic favorites, as well as underused and underappreciated tones. The color palette consisted of soft and whimsical blushes, against tones of sage green and ivory. The white dinner table was decorated with a contrast of textures and colors, ranging from unfinished wood to linen and metallics.
The invitations were wax sealed with sage leaves and blush silk ribbon around a vellum envelope, which matched the escort cards.
The bouquet was styled in bright hues to pop against the shades of the forest in which the shoot took place, adorned with silk ribbons of blush and sage which blew in the spring winds. The bride's makeup was kept very natural, soft, and classic as her hair was swept into a romantic braid embellished with a floral hairpiece that tied the whole look together.
Lastly, the golden dessert stand was garnished with roses and peonies which drew your eye toward the cake. The cake, a pink and sage watercolor marbling, stood tall as the center of the attention decorated with flowers and macaroons. Around it lay other sweet treats like strawberry basil tarts and macaroons.
