Sarah and Eric were married amidst the romantic vineyards and palm trees of the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, California. Pink peonies and peach roses festooned the event, matching Sarah's jeweled pink shoes and filling the warm autumn day with a sweet fragrance. The hanging crystals and beveled vases added by Asiel Design created a soft and elegant effect. This wedding was romance to the nth degree!

From the Bride:
We asked a good friend of ours, Amanda, (also one of my bridesmaids) to be the officiant. We wanted someone Eric and I both knew, and someone who knew us and our journey. She made the whole ceremony feel personal and she made it incredibly memorable for us.
From the start we wanted to speak a sort of "open love letter" to each other before the official vows from Amanda. This was our opportunity to put into words all the feelings that had been leading up to this moment. It was also the most important part of the weeding for us, since we see marriage more as a declaration of love to one another – something unique and true to us as a couple. That was the moment that made the wedding completely 'ours', and we will never forget that moment.
The Palm Event Center was an absolute gem. We really can't explain how happy we were with the venue, food, drinks, and personnel at the Palm. We thought the staff was phenomenal on the day of the event, and they made the entire day unforgettable by leaving Eric and I to truly enjoy the evening while they took care of the every detail.
Gotta love it when we see real brides taking advantage of our Free Printable page! Sarah and Eric made our bride and groom seat signs shine with a pair of gold glitter frames. How nice! And who can say no to our free dessert table signs? They literally wish your wedding guests well, how fun!
From the Bride:Eric and I defied many odds in order to end up together. We met through a mutual friend, but from then on, it was never made totally simple for us. He was going to school in San Diego; I was going to school in Malibu. He was a busy engineering student; I was studying abroad for a year in Germany. However, from the first moment we were introduced, we both knew there was something there that distance and inconvenience would ultimately surrender to. Through e-mails, Skype, and other early stages of online communication, we got to know everything about each other over the course of a few years. So when we finally started dating (in person), we realized it had been the distance and inconvenience which made our bond so strong. It was perfect.
