Those cute handmade bridesmaid hangers are adorable. However, if you are looking to save a few dollars, make your own bridesmaid hangers. Buy a set of nice cedar hangers like these from Target that are $11.99 per a pack! Grab a sharpie, you could even use a metallic sharpie in gold or silver. Then in your prettiest cursive write your bestie's name on the hanger. LOVE IT!
From Endless Exposures Photography: I was blown away at just how gorgeous her attention to detail was from beginning to end. From the love letters, DIY wedding crafts, glamorous glitter, the wonderful candy and cookie bar.. and that cake table! SO gorgeous! Every detail was perfect and a reflection of their fun and playful personalities. From the Bride: I made a lot of the decor myself. I know this is kind of popular to do, especially with Pinterest! I would offer that brides have plenty of help and make a fun day out of it! I would also suggest being as organized as possible. Figure out the look and feel desired and stick with it. Buy in advance and make things in advance!
I would recommend bridal portraits, I opted out because when I was trying to organize a session it was very close to the wedding date and I didn't think they were a necessary expense at that time, however doing them gives you an idea of how you will look on the big day. I wish I would have done a practice look prior to the wedding day. I may have worn my hair down or done my own makeup instead. Also, buy your dress in plenty if time, I had to have mine altered a lot and it was finally done during the wedding month (very stressful)!
Lastly, I know things get pricey, but this day is special, it's not fair to the bride and groom to skimp or go the "cheap" route on everything. Think of a few things you really want despite the expense and plan for those. Details are everything at weddings, yes they are tedious and take a lot of work, but the end result is worth it all.
