From the Bride: We wanted our wedding to be eclectic, southwest, bohemian, and deeply intimate. We found all of those things and more at The Croft Downtown.
The Croft is a wonderfully industrial, urban and romantic venue in Downtown Phoenix. With exposed brick walls, high ceilings, raw concrete floors and rows and rows of glittery chandeliers, they truly complimented our wedding theme.
Perfectly dimmed and organically romantic, the Abbey room of The Croft needed very little décor. Our ceremony was lit up with several chandeliers and candles (from the aisle runner to the candlelit bookshelves).
Our backdrop was made up of several suspended dream catchers and we stood on vintage Persian rugs. We chose dream catchers for our backdrop as a symbolism for our good fortune. Being able to find the man/ woman of our dreams, why not capture our life’s promises under dream captures?
I can’t help but smile when I reflect on the short few minutes shared between my husband and I. After the ceremony and our guests were ushered into cocktail hour, my husband John and I managed to have time alone in the reception room.
Our wonderful catering team plated us a smorgasbord of appetizers and John and I got to talk alone, in a quite room, congratulating one another on the fruits of our labor. We walked the aisles of our reception space, looked at the small details of our cake and sweetheart table, and together we absorbed the magic we created together.
