Julie and Bret met in 2012 while both out on the town in Scottsdale with groups of friends. Fast forward to July 4th, 2015 when Bret popped the question in Payson on a camping trip, truly making sparks fly for his soon-to-be bride.
This sweet couple tied the not on November 5, 2016, at Desert Botanical Garden, a nod to their shared love of the outdoors and the desert landscapes. With an intimate guest list of just 100 friends and family members, they exchanged vows during a 5 p.m. ceremony with gorgeous light. The backdrop was a beautiful cactus covered mountain and the weather was perfect!
Their reception was equally as pretty with bistro lighting and an uplit mountain as the backdrop. With such stunning scenery, Julie wanted to add subtle touches of elegance without taking away from the natural ambiance. To compliment their navy and coral palette, gold and metallic details were added the combination of succulents, ranunculus, peonies, roses and ferns in burnt copper urns and antique goblets was the perfect way to achieve this desert glam vibe! Guests danced the night away and sent off Julie and Bret with lots of love and well wishes.
